Pre-K to 8th Grade
This adult-supervised, DHS-licensed program offers a safe and friendly atmosphere for kids age Pre-K through 8th grade after school until 6:00 PM. Prime Time emphasizes physical activity and creativity. While kids socialize, play games, read, do homework and play outdoors they build character and make friends. A nutritious snack is served each afternoon. Each child is transported from a Norman Public School to the Y either via the Norman Public School’s bus system or via Y transportation depending on the school. Because Norman Public Schools do not transport 4 year old children, pre-k participants in Prime Time must attend a school with transportation provided by the Y. Students who attend a private school need to check with the Y for bus availability. The Prime Time program corresponds with the NPS calendar and is not offered on snow days. School year, monthly and weekly participation is available. A bank draft can be set up for your convenience.
