When school is not in session, it’s the PRIME TIME to get kids moving, healthy and having a blast! Noble PRIME TIME is a DHS-licensed program that offers a safe, active and friendly atmosphere for children after school. Kids socialize, play games, read, do homework, play outdoors, build character and make friends! Snacks & transportation are included at a great price so that every child in the community can attend.

Homeschool P.E. is a fitness class designed specifically for children ages 5 to 12 who learn at home. Children who participate in Home School P. E. will play games, do creative and challenging activities and get fit while having fun as they grow in spirit, mind and body. 

Encourage your children to have an active lifestyle through physical fitness. Enroll your children at the Member Information Center.

Our Homeschool P.E. Program follows the NPS Schedule. It runs August 20 - May 23.

Class starts at 12:45 PM and ends at 1:45 PM.

Winter Recreational Basketball Registration

The Y is offering the best in basketball to kids in our community. It's time to dribble, shoot and score big with the Cleveland County Family YMCA's youth winter recreational basketball league.

Sign your children up today to give them a chance to form friendships, be a part of a team and participate in skill building exercises. This league is for players who are at a beginner to intermediate skill level and want to grow their understanding of basketball.

Fall Swim Lessons

Strong Swimmers, Confident Kids!

Fall Swim Lesson Registration starts August 1 and runs through November 15.

COST

Group Lessons are $35 for Norman Y Members and $55 for all others.

Semi-Private Lessons are $75 for Norman Y Members and $105 for all others.

Private Lessons are $105 for Norman Y Members and $135 for all others.

WHEN

Fall Swim Lessons are offered for 40 minute sessions. There are 5 total sessions and each session has 6 total lesson dates. The lessons are offered every Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.

Parents, we ask that you wait outside the pool area while lessons are being conducted. You are welcome to watch the lessons through the windows located in the hallway. 

No photos will be allowed during regular lessons. The last class is reserved for photos. 

Refunds will only be given for a major illness or cancellation of program class.

School's Out Camp

Empowering our Youth Through Fun & Recreation

This program devotes an entire day to fun and recreation when children have entire days off school. Any students enrolled in Norman Public Schools kindergarten and up and current pre-k-plus students are welcome. The dates available correspond with most non-school days. Camp is from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM with scheduled activities from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Activities include: theme days, crafts, swimming and field trips. Campers only need a sack lunch, swimsuit and towel. We take care of the rest!

Cotton Bowl Challenge

Workout like a champion!

Beginning Saturday, September 8th and continuing for four weeks leading up to the big game! There are 193.3 miles from Dallas to Norman. Can you run it? Walk it? Zumba it? How about cycling or elliptical? Take your workout to a new extreme this football season and for only $15 join the Cotton Bowl Challenge. 

Earn 2 miles for every 10 minutes of cardio you complete.

The challenge is broken down into four quarters and mileage sheets need to be turned in at the end of each week. Start now so you can get your miles in before time runs out!

Register Today and pick up your mileage sheets at the Member Information center. Workout at the Y, home, outside, etc. and your mileage still counts!

Each model is motorized for maximum movement and fascination!

It's a zoo in here! This is a unit sure to delight kids who love creatures. We'll build models of snakes, insects, mammals and more. Each week we'll discuss fascinating facts about the animals we build, from the chameleon that changes colors to the seal model that waddles across the table. Students will love these moving models that celebrate the wonders of the animal kingdom.

YMCA Aquatic Safety Assistant (YASA)

This course teaches the skills needed to help prevent and recognize aquatic risks and to assist lifeguards in emergencies. This does not provide lifeguard training; a certified lifeguard must be on duty when teaching a class. Participants must be 14 years or older and 100% attendance is required. Participants must also preregister 5 days prior to course. Safety courses are included in the fee.

The Cleveland County Family YMCA members can bring in (1) one pound of candy and receive a $10 program voucher to use towards swim lessons, youth sports programs, etc. Have (2) two kids on your active family membership? Bring (2) two pounds of candy and receive (2) two vouchers! CCFYMCA can use (1) one voucher for $10 off a program for each child on their family membership.

Empowering Our Youth Through Fun & Recreation

This program devotes an entire day of fun and recreation when children have scheduled days off of school. Any students enrolled in Pre-K Plus or Norman Public Schools Kindergarten and up are welcome. The dates available correspond with most non-school days. 

Camp is from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM with scheduled activities from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Activities include theme days, crafts, swimming, and field trips. Campers only need a sack lunch, swimsuit and towel. We take care of the rest!

Register at the Member Information Center Today! A $30 registration fee & current immunization records are due at registration.

This course teaches the skills needed to help prevent and recognize aquatic risks and to assist lifeguards in emergencies. This does not provide lifeguard training; a certified lifeguard must be on duty when teaching a class. Participants must be 14 years or older and 100% attendance is required. Participants must also preregister 5 days prior to course. Safety courses are included in the fee.

The Y is offering the best in basketball to kids in our community. It's time to dribble, shoot and score big with the Cleveland County Family YMCA's youth recreational basketball league.

Sign your children up today to give them a chance to form friendships, be a part of a team and participate in skill building exercises. This league is for players who are at a beginner to intermediate skill level and want to grow their understanding of basketball.

YMCA Aquatic Safety Assistant (YASA)

This course teaches the skills needed to help prevent and recognize aquatic risks and to assist lifeguards in emergencies. This does not provide lifeguard training; a certified lifeguard must be on duty when teaching a class. Participants must be 14 years or older and 100% attendance is required. Participants must also preregister 5 days prior to course. Safety courses are included in the fee. 

Must register by August 22nd.

Cotton Bowl Challenge Registration

WORKOUT LIKE A CHAMPION!

COTTON BOWL CHALLENGE

There are 193.3 miles from Dallas to Norman. Can you run it? Walk it? Zumba it? How about cycling or elliptical? Earn 2 miles for every 10 minutes of cardio you complete. The challenge is broken down into four quarters and mileage sheets need to be turned in at the end of each week. Workout at the Y, home, outside, etc. and your mileage still counts! Complete the challenge and win a T-shirt and bragging rights!

REGISTRATION

Registration ends Sept. 8. Pick up your mileage sheets at the Member Information Center.

Beginning Saturday, September 8th and continuing for four weeks leading up to the big game!

If you would like to register your child for a free haircut, you can register at the Member Information Center beginning July 16 through August 3. Free haircuts are by appointment only.

School Supply Donations will be accepted July 16 - August 3 and you can pickup your school supplies on August 12 during this event.

LIFT YOUR SPIRITS LUNCHEON

If you are senior and want to be a part of a fun community then join us for a potluck luncheon that is open to every senior and senior friend in the Norman Community.

Bring a dish to share and plan on meeting new people! Each month features a different theme, along with an activity or entertainment!

We meet the second Wednesday of the month from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and you are guaranteed to meet new people when you come!
