* A household membership is defined as up to two adults and all children through 23 years of age living in the household. Additional adults can be added to household memberships for $25 per adult, per month.

Discounted rates are available for qualifying individuals, including seniors ages 65 & up. Contact the Norman YMCA for more information.

† JOINING FEE - Joining fees are a non-refundable, one-time charge as long as membership remains continuous. The joining fee will be required if membership has lapsed for more than 60 days. Memberships are not transferable to other individuals and may be revoked for inappropriate behavior, or not abiding by the rules, regulations and policies of the Y. Upgrading from an Adult membership to a Household membership requires a $35 upgrade fee (the difference between the Adult Joining Fee and the Household Joining Fee).

MEMBERSHIP THROUGH YOUR INSURANCE

 

The Norman YMCA has partnered with several insurance agencies to allow participants of some insurance policies access to a free gym membership. We currently accept Renew Active by UnitedHealthcare, SilverSneakers, and Prime. You must register through your insurance policy prior to coming to the Norman YMCA. If you have any questions about registration, please follow the links below or contact your insurance agency.

Your membership fees not only allow facility access for you and your family, they also enable us to continue providing Norman and the surrounding communities with the programs and resources necessary to maintain a healthy spirit, mind and body.

Payment Options

  • Monthly Automatic Bank Withdrawal

    • ​The easy way to enjoy a worry-free Y membership is to pay as you go from your checking, savings, or credit card account. The account of your choice is debited once per month on the 1st, 10th, 15th, or 25th of each month. Manual cash, check and credit card payments are not available.

  • Semi-Annual

    • ​Dues may be paid in full upon joining and again in six months. Payment is accepted via cash, check, or credit card. We accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express. A photo ID is required for payments by credit card or check.
       

  • Annual

    • ​Dues may be paid in full upon joining and yearly thereafter. Payment is accepted via cash, check, or credit card. We accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express. A Photo ID is required for payments by credit card or check.

 
Cancellation Policy
We want you to have an excellent experience at the Norman YMCA. To help us serve you better, we ask that you speak with a staff member before you cancel your Y membership. If there is a problem, let our staff try to solve it.

If you decide to cancel your membership, a Y cancellation notification form must be submitted at least 10 days prior to your next draft date to avoid being drafted the following month.

There are only 2 valid ways of canceling your Norman YMCA membership. All membership cancellations must be written and submitted via email to perez@ymcanorman.org or in person at the Member Information Center.
 

Financial Assistance
We offer financial assistance on a need basis. Recipients of financial assistance receive full member benefits. Download the financial assistance application and bring the form, along with your most recent 1040 or other documents showing income to the Norman YMCA or email the Director of Member Services, Megann Perez at perez@ymcanorman.org.
