Pilates Fitness Center is a therapeutic Pilates studio & healthy living program of the Cleveland County Family YMCA. No other Pilates studio in Norman can match the expertise & experience of our certified instructors. All of our Certified Pilates Instructors are therapeutically trained and we offer a safe environment for those who want to enhance their fitness level without injury & we take care of those with physical conditions requiring special protocols.
To start your Pilates Fitness Center journey, you will need to attend our New Client sessions. After completing these sessions, your instructor will help you design an appropriate program based on your goals, fitness level & budget!

Principals of Pilates
The principles of Pilates can dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels & performs. The Pilates method teaches increased body awareness, good posture, builds strength, enhances flexibility & improves balance. Even joint & muscle aches can be alleviated.
By developing proper technique, your body can be retrained to move in safe, more efficient patterns of motion which are invaluable for injury recovery, sports performance, good posture & optimal health.
As you become more aware of your body’s alignment & movement, the principles learned in Pilates will enhance every aspect of your life: from performing chores around the house to workplace duties to competing in a sport!
