In the same scenario, the second place finisher will receive nine (9) points, third place will receive eight (8) points, etc.
The events that will be awarded points under this system are Executive Relay, Boat Building, 5K Run, and Trivia.
3) TOURNAMENT POINTS
All events played tournament style will have points awarded to the top three teams as follows:
-
First Place: twenty (20) points
-
Second Place: fifteen (15) points
-
Third Place: ten (10) points
4) FUNDRAISING POINTS

Credit/debit card transactions will be processed at that time and only those transactions that successfully process will be counted toward your team total. Points will be awarded as follows:

Teams raising $1-$499 will receive one (1) participation point for fundraising.
5) TIE BREAKER
In case of a tie in determining the overall Corporate Challenge Top 3 Finishers, the amount of money raised for the Y’s annual campaign will determine the company that receives the higher place.

Captains should consider good sportsmanship, enthusiasm and embodying the spirit of building relationships, friendly competition and telling the Y story.
FUNDRAISING COMPETITION
There’s never been a better time to build a better us. You know the challenges that we face in Norman and the surrounding areas. People of all ages and backgrounds are struggling to reach their full potential. More and more children face seemingly insurmountable learning gaps. Families find it difficult to spend quality time together. People are not connected to their neighbors and face time happens through a phone. And instead of seeing the income gap shrink, it seems all we do is watch it grow. But when challenges arise, the Y – and donors like you – steps in. After 35 years of serving Cleveland County, the Y understands what our community needs to be its best. Working with generous donors like you, the Y provides everyone the opportunity to be healthy and thrive, to connect with others, and contribute to a better community. To support the mission of the Y, fundraising is a critical component of the corporate challenge. Your team can rise to the challenge by raising money towards our annual campaign to support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This allows us to continue to never turn anyone away due to the inability to pay. All money is due by 1:00pm on Sunday, April 3 in order to qualify toward your team total and your team point count. All materials needed to raise money will be included in a packet you will receive upon registering.
