Team up for success!
Earn your stripes when you join the Tiger Sharks Swim Team!
Improve your basic skills and prepare for competitions. Work on strokes, gain endurance and learn to work as a team.
For advanced swimmers only. Participants will need to complete all levels of swim lessons before participating.
Basic Requirements
• 50 yards Freestyle (with face in the water and rotary breathing)
• 50 yards Backstroke
• 25 yards either Breaststroke or Butterfly

I WILL encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, officials and Y staff at every swim meet or practice.
I WILL place the emotional and physical well-being of each child ahead of a personal desire to win.
I WILL demand an environment for my child that is free of drugs, tobacco, vaping products and alcohol.
I WILL NOT use drugs, tobacco, vaping products or alcohol at Y events.
I WILL remember that this is a sporting event designed for our youth.
I WILL do my best to make this sports experience enjoyable for all children.
I WILL help my child enjoy the swimming experience by doing whatever I can, such as: being a respectful fan, volunteering or providing transportation.
I WILL treat other swimmers, coaches, fans, officials, & Y staff with respect, regardless of race, sex, creed or ability.
I WILL support and demonstrate the 4 core values of the YMCA organization at every sports event.
